Dr. Neal has been our family's vet for 15 years. We couldn't be happier with the care him and his staff have given us over the years. He is a very caring and competent vet for our dogs and cat and we appreciate all he has done for us over the years.

Not Happy: Took my cat to this vet after years of boarding our dog for a ear problem. She also needed deworming. After $91 a ear application of medicine and deworming nothing changed. Called and was given additional ear medication for $17 which also did not work. Called back and was told it would cost another $39 to be seen again. This would not include any further tests, or medications , procedures etc. This seems to me a little suspect. They also when I boarded my dog added charges I did not ask for, said he had worms and treated him and I had to pay for the vet visit. Was very embarrasing when we picked him up. I should have not gone back after that, but did.

I would not recommed this vet , the vet is only there 3 days a week and not on Fridays and a entire weekend plus Fridays is to long to wait to see a vet when your in need. This way I also feel they get emergency costs. Not a honest practice in my opinion. The office help is also not friendly, the vet tech went to pick up my cat by her neck which her ears were hurting and it would have pulled them backwards, she also cries when picked up like that. When I asked her not to do that she gave me a dirty look. Not happy.

It is a real shame that on the central coast we cannot find a decent vet. The first vet lied about my dog who lived many years more, and also deafened him, now this vet. I was a vet tech for many years and know when I am being lied to and taken advantage of. I should not have to pay for another visit for the same problem. I was willing to pay for more treatments, and even any procedures but not another office visit.
