Love the guys at Rick's for fishing supplies - yes...fly fishing too.

I've been going there for years and the customer service is A+

Yesterday they spent time explaining knots, setup, flies,locations to find wild fish and when trying on rental wader gear I was helped getting my boots on. When was the last time a shoe saleman helped you actually put shoes on? This is old fashioned customer service missing in most all industries today.

Knowing they're going to help me personally (if they're not slammed with customers) keeps me coming back. And the patience they showed for my new fly fishing husband that had about 100 questions, was amazing.

We were also very happy with our guide from a previous trip, who had lots of patience with us - so as newbies to fly fishing - they got us "hooked" on the sport and to come back to their shop everytime we're in town.

Shame on whoever chastised them for not changing the board or having too much info. The board is there for you to find what you're comfortable fishing with (bait, live bait, flies...etc). But as fly fisherman we are not to be lazy, but to stop, look under rocks for info on what to use - or "hello" - stop, ask and talk to the guys. You'll make quick friends with them

This weekend when my husband said do you remember us they said yes and told us what we purchased last time. How about that!!!

Since going to Mammoth to ski for the last 5 years now, I have always and will always use Ricks. These guys are the best customer service folks in th area. I have also had the opportunity to use Rick's very own snow board in the past. If you have a family you know how time consuming it is to get everyone set up. These guys move quickly and are very helpfull in the process. My money is always spent on quality like this. Customer for life.

the best place ever!!!! the service and quality is top notch and the people who work their are truly nice and informative. great for any type of gear for any season. would recommend the place to anyone heading up to mammoth.
