    Amazing!: Here in Independence, CA is a family from Paris who run a very cute French restaurant. They make Madame and Monsieur sandwiches that are to die for. Instead of pepper, they serve teensy-tiny whole peppercorns (about the size of coarse ground pepper) on these sandwiches. The bleu cheese hamburger is world class. They have a good lamb shank and other delights for dinner. You can practice your French and have a memorable meal at the Still Life. Am I a family member? NO! I just want this place to survive. Check it out!
