User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is one of the best sushi places my husband and I enjoy dinning at. The sushi and dishes are delicious and have great taste. We have eaten in many other Japanese restaurants and this by far is one of the best ones. Whether is the only one in Tehachapi has nothing to do with my rating. I'm rating the quality and my enjoyment of the food and feel of the place. Some of my favorites is the unagi/avocado role, rainbow roll, spicy tuna role, and I love their "beef stew" which I just can't remember the name for. Their tempura is delicious and the have a great selection of vegetables.
Last, but not least, is dessert, I love mochi, green tea flavor to be precise. If you enjoy good quality sushi, this is the place to be! :)
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest food in town: I've never had such consistently good food at a restaurant. It is always fresh and cooked (or uncooked) to perfection, no matter what you get. From sushi, to sashimi, to noodles, to steak - it's all good. Even for those who think Japanese is nothing but "raw fish," this place has dishes such as chicken mornay with fresh fruit or veggies, katsu don (fried pork with egg, carmelized onions over rice) and the crunchiest, most perfect tempura veggies and shrimp I've ever tasted. This place is just incredible.
