| About: | Our founder Emilio Pistoresi commenced building his dream in 1938 with humble beginnings selling Plymouth and De Soto automobiles at a facility located on what is currently know as Gateway Drive. The original dealership consisted of a showroom large enough for one vehicle, a wash rack, and one repair bay. Emilio was the salesperson, lube man, and detailer. Opening for business with the grand total of sixteen dollars and change in his checking account, he worked hard to accomplish the American Dream legacy built by his father. In 19978, Emilio again began to build on yet another dream in the form of a new, modern facility located at its present location, 1100 South Madera Avenue. The new facility was built by son Michael Pistoresi. With construction complete, Emilio moved his business again in December of 1998. Emilio went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2001, but instilled in all of us the importance of treating his customers as we ourselves would like to be treated. o f owning his own business. Emilio closed the doors to his young business in 1943 and reported for duty in the United States Army. Upon returning in 1945, Emilio built a new facility at 225 South D Street near the Post Office. User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFirst visit to Pistoresi and I was extremely happy with the service that I received from the staff. I just moved into the area and my past experience with my dealership where I previously lived was not good; I actually hated when it was time to have my vehicle service. Now that I live in Madera I was expecting to receive the same type of service from Pistoresi because I assumed all dealership were the same. That statement is far from the truth; I am so happy with my service experience that I am considering going back to look at purchasing a new vehicle.I received a shuttle ride from one of their sales staff he was extremely pleasant which leads me to believe that I should have a great purchase experience like the one I received from the servie staff. This is in response to my last review of Pistoresi. That review was made out of pure frustration and the remark about Pistoresi setting back odometers was fueled by excessive anger. I regret posting that review and want to set the record straight on this review.
The car that was purchased at Pistoresi has been a very good car. The people at Pistoresi (Mike) admitted that our last 2 visits were handled incorrectly, and Mike did everything in his power to make things right. That is all I could ask for as a customer. In the end I want to say that I will continue to do business with Pistoresi. I wouldn't be back if it wasn't for the way Mike remedied the situation.
