Kingsburg Ballet & Arts Studio

I have been a student at both Kingsburg Ballet and Northwest Studio for eight years. If you want to learn real classical Vagonova ballet techniques, these are the only schools in the area that teach it because the focus here is on Ballet rather than Hip Hop or other pseudo dance styles. You can also take tap or jazz here if you wish.
Yes, the main instructor is tough, but to say she is mean is out of line. She is like a coach in any other sport. She strives for each one of her students to do their best so, if you are a slacker this is probably not the school for you. If you really want to learn to dance, to have the opportunity to meet and perform with professional dancers from all over the world, and learn self discipline, then Kingsburg or Northwest are the studios for you. Fees are comparable to other activities you might be involved in and well worth the price.

The owner and main teacher is very strict and mean. She scares all of her students and even gets them to the point when they are crying. But she dosent care. The instruction level is good but the way she goes about it is horrible. I would only recommend this school if your child is strong enough to go through the abuse.

My daughter has attended ballet classes at Kingsburg Ballet for 6 years. The instruction is superior. If you are interested in ballet this is the only studio in the area to go to.
