For years we have enjoyed great food here for family gatherings, birthdays, etc. We always made it a point to come by the Shaw & Blackstone rest. That was until last month when we were there for a family gathering in the main back rooms north east corner. I had noticed on earlier visits that there was a large gap beneath the baseboard of the northern wall @ ten feet from the eastern corner. On this occasion my son nudged me and said that he saw a cockroach on the wildly patterned carpet; as our entire party was now watching the floor, I saw it for myself. I took the handy crayons out of the shot glass and turned the glass over, traping the cockroach. I then asked for the manager. I was told by our own server that none was available and that she herself was in charge. This was a weekend night. The place was packed and my party had lost our appetites.I told our server of the problem and she said that she was already aware, gave us two $10 gift cards and had a busboy take care of the offending roach. It is sad. For years we enjoyed going there. That night was our final visit. The restaurant is no longer appetizing.

Great food here!! The salsas' are amazing as well as pretty much everything on the menu. The service is always great too. The seafood enchaladas are amazing!

Good food, we've had some issues in the past however they seem to be making progress on the problems
