I cannot speak for the quality of the gowns, however, I have known the owner, consultant, named Sherri - who not only owns the event planning business called "A Vision Of Elegance", but also owns this local Fresno bridal salon called Madelein's Bridal. All I will say is that knowing someone for many years teaches you a lot about a person's true character. In my book character counts in a huge way, and extends into every aspect of a person's personal and professional life.
They almost ruined my wedding day, they had me in TEARS in the STORE and they didn't even say sorry, they even had the audacity to say it was MY FAULT!! You be the judge⦠I selected my dress and got it fitted with a very full wedding slip and I also bought the slip the same day I bought my dress both from them (Madelineâs). The dress was delivered to Madelineâs in about 6 weeks when my dress arrived, I went to try it in and it looked great! The problem was I didnât have my slip one. So when they pressed my dress and I tried it on in front of the Owner with my full slip, they measured the dress and it was 8 INCHES TOO SHORT!!! They said it was MY FAULY HAD I FOUND THE ERROR SOONER THEY MAY HAVE HAD TIME TO CORRECT IT. I was in TEARS at the STORE IN FRONT MY 2 daughters (3 & 5) with my wedding in 3 days and a ruined wedding dress. After calling and calling and bugging the owner, an alternation lady (friend of the owner) had to literality cut fabric from the inside of my dress to add to the bottom!! They donât double check the dresses when they come back, that is the first thing they should do!!! If they would have just taken the extra step to double check the measurements on the dress vs. the measurements taken on me it would have been way obvious the dress was made 8 INCHES TOO SHORT!!! I want to cry right now just to think about the horrid memory of this experience. SERIOUSLY LADIES, PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO NOT BUY ANY WEDDING DRESSES FROM THERE YOU ARE WILLING ON TAKING THAT CHANCE OF HAVEING YOUR WEDDING DAY RUINED!
This is the absolute WORST dress shop I have ever encountered. I had nothing but trouble from the owner Sherri Mosher. My dress was stained from the pressing they did two days before my wedding and this is the way they delivered the dress to me. I had to hear my husband ask me "what's on your dress" at my wedding. It has been three months of me trying to get the store to make it right and all they have done is lay blame with anyone else they can. Bottom line this store cannot back up their sales or their merchandise. DO NOT SHOP HERE.
