User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsUse to be... if they had swordfish... it was fresh!!! They always bought the whole thing and only if it was good. Now they seem to have it all the time. However, we've never had a bad meal here in over 15 years. We always eat in the restaurant for "formal" dining, although the Tower District location woul dimply formal dress is not required. Usually for lunch or less formal occasions, we eat in the bar. We cannot go here without ordering a "Shrimp & Crab Quesadilla" because is has been a DELICIOUS staple of ours here for years. We thing they call it something else and have taken it off the lunch menu, but it's still there and goes great with an adult beverage. The sals it's served with is nice too. Would highly reccommend this to someone visiting Fresno or not familiar with the Tower. If you live in Fresno, you should eat here at least once a month!

Good food and strong drinks are a win!: Livingstones is a decently classy place where you can still go in jeans and a T-shirt and not be made to feel like you're in a dive, while still enjoying a good, clean environment. Better then the casual upscaleness however is the quality of the food and drinks. Try the mushroom swiss burger, one of the best in town, and get a Bacardi and Diet, guaranteed strong enough to make you go to sleep assured you get every drop you paid for and more.
