The garden patio seating is beautiful and warm with heaters, fireplaces and classy bricked decor. The food is a bit too pricey for the quality but the decor and the wine bar makes up for it. The brick fire pits, copper walls and lush landscaping just add to the enticing feel. Also don't miss the desserts which are the best feature of The Forge in the Forest Restaurant. User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI actuallloved the Forge In The Forest & have gone back 2 years running. Their service and food are impressive. And right now a big issue is that a restaurant be able to accomodate my grand-daughters stroller. This 2nd trip they were able to accomodate her stroller and were extremely attentive in seeing to our needs. The food was first rate. The ambiance, (with the exception of the bald headed middle aged man glaring at us for bringing the baby in, who by the way slept through the whole thing) was beautiful.

Food was good, but I've had better service at Denny's at 3 in the morning. We went on a slow week day, and the waitress acted as though we were inconviencing her with our presence. Had to remind her we were still there and waited over 45 minutes for 2 simple orders (salad and veggie burger.) I know alot of people rave about this place, but I won't be returning soon
