WARNING! The Chart Hose oops House, is not Gay Friendly! A dear friend went to the bar with 4 straight friends. After his friends were served, he continued to be ignored. When he asked politely to be served, the bartender refused, allegedly because he had too much to drink. Being stone cold sober, he then asked for the manager. The manager informed him that "they don't serve people like him." He happens to be obviously gay.
I am beyond outraged! BTW, I am straight and my friend is a relatively well known talk show host in the area. You have not heard the last of this. Please feel free to contact this restaurant and let them know your feelings. I just did.
Great Restaurant with great service. We were celebrating our Anniversary and they had a beautiful and romantic table waiting for us. Keep in mind, we had our hotel book our reservations and I believe that is why we received such a great table. Food was excellent. Our server was professional and checked on us regularly even though it was a busy evening in the restaurant....
My husband and I travel a lot so we have been to some very nice restaurants. Our hotel recommended this place I think they get some sort of credit from them. Anyway the restaurant is beautiful but the service more like a dennys and the food not worth the cost by any means. Our soups tasted like out of a can. Our meals were so quick to come out that we barely enjoyed our selves. It was like they wanted us to leave as soon as possible. I believe the waitress judged us by how we looked. BIG MISTAKE as my husband used to bartend and is a good tipper. Overall experience poor it is a gimmicky restaurant not worth the cost.
PS we still tipped 20% ï

This was very helpfull. Thank you for your honesty. My partner and I will not go here.
Then stop being so obviously gay!! Good Lord, if the only reason someone wants respect is due to an accident of birth (race, sexuality, gender, etc), then I pity them.
