Dr. Jang and his staff are wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I have "dentalphobia" and he and his staff have always made me feel comfortable and at ease. I have needed extensive dental work and every time he has made me feel at ease and informs me every step of the way about what he is doing.
Don't let the building fool you - it's old and somewhat an odd place for him, but once in the chair you know you are in good hands
As well, I have had a few "emergencies" and they have always gotten me in right away and my appointment times have always been convient to me and I've never had to wait in the waiting room - if I have been told my appoitment is at 9:30 then I know that by 9:35 I'll be in a chair!
Keep up the good work Dr. Jang!

A Good Option for BC/BS Employees: For those with BC/BS (at least Federal Employees), dentist selection is limited in the area. Yesterday was my first visit to Dr. Jang, as I arrived to the area only six months ago and had a cleaning right before departing my previous location.

Upon arriving, I have to admit, I wasn't particularly impressed with the building. Put bluntly, it's old, both the exterior and interior. Nevertheless, the dental facilities are clean, and the staff is very nice.

Re: the cleaning itself, the method was somewhat outdated like the surroudings, leaving me surprised that Dr. Jang was still using the traditional manual instruments to pry tartar from between my teeth (vs. the more modern electric pic that vibrates rapidly). That said, he was as gentle as one can be considering the circumstances, and the end result is that I received a thorough cleaning.

In short, while the facilities and methods aren't exactly state-of-the-art, the staff was friendly and professional. As such, I'd recommend this dental facility, particularly for those of us with limited options via BC/BS.

Very friendly: I feel very comfortible when I am there. The people are all very nice.
