User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe customer service here is terrible. My husband ordered the ribs, and the server came out with a rib steak. When my husband told the server about the mistake, the server insisted it was what he ordered and even told us that they didn't serve ribs at the restaurant! When we got the bill, it was higher than we thought, so we got the menu and saw that there were ribs on the menu--for about $20 less than the meal we were being charged for. The server brought the manager over, and even he wouldn't do anything about the charge. He kept insisting that it was my husband's fault for not sending the meal back (even though he tried to do so). On a table that probably spent more than $600 in total (we had about 12 people), he refused to own up to the mistake and take a hit of $20. This is unacceptable.
The food? The food was okay but not great. Considering the prices, we all came away slightly disappointed. Some friends who were there that night said the Sardine Factory, which is just next door to the Whaling Station, is far superior.-

The steak was GOOD, however, the Lobster was not that great. Also the appetizer was not all that great either. Overall the food was Okay but the SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I spent over $130.00 in food and got bad service. If you don't care about the service that you get then feel free to go here, otherwise, DON'T the WAITER that I had was racist, rude, everything!!!

Was really looking forward to a nice dinner - and was severely disappointed. Service friendly - but slow. Ordered salad and prime rib after consulting with the waiter. Salad was OK. After over 30 minutes of waiting for the entree, it was served cold and with the wrong side. When I asked to have it fixed - I was told I needed to order something else since that was the last of the rib. Left disappointed and hungry. Would never go back.
