Jersey Joe's Hoagies

I'm from Philly & when it comes to Philly food, Jersey counts. Been all over the country...the cheeseteaks are about the closest you would ever find to the real thing (forget Max's and other wannabe menus). The only difference is the rolls, and that's because they are very hard to get outside Philly...but they are darn close. And the hoagies--heaven. Not a "sub" a hoagie, and a hoagie is not a sub, and oh, so good! This is just great eating at reasonable prices and they don't stint on the meat, etc. From a hometown girl...you want Philly...go to Jersey Joe's.

If you enjoy the East coast, and suddenly need a taste of a great cheese steak hoagie, then this is the place for you! You can enjoy the ball games, while enjoying your hoagie/burgers & fries with friends.

best cheese steaks and italian subs in the area: This place has, by far, the best cheese steaks and italian hoagies on the peninsula. The sandwiches are as good as anything I've had anywhere, and I've been to all of the famous cheese steak places in philly as well as sub shops on the jersey shore. The hoagies are expensive but enormous; the cheese steaks are good. The cheese steak hoagie is a great cross. I've been there many times over the years. Don't miss it!
