I have been to the Grill atleast 10 times and have never been disappointed. I love the Prime Rib Sandwich and it is a very popular dish there. The prime rib is great too with mashe potatoes but it's huge so be prepared! Everyone loves the ribs and chicken as well. Cornbread is served in a skillet and has jalapeno and honey in it, amazing : )
I have heard the enchiladas are great as well and the peel n eat shrimp are fresh. Pretty much everything is good!
But the best part are the Margaritas. Since it's an older crowd most people get martinis or wine but the margaritas are great and fresh. No mixes, just fresh lime juice. Also grade a tequila.
They take reservations for parties of 5 or less. The place fills up by 6 pm so a reservation is smart. Not open for lunch, just dinner. Enjoy!
I took a friend here for her birthday last week and really enjoyed the experience. The food was wonderful and the service was amazing (the server refilled my drink without my even noticing that he was there.) $14 is a little pricey for a burger, but it was worth it. Really good quality beef and tasty hand-cut fries.
The restaurant was mobbed on Friday night at 6pm, but luckily we had reservations. Seems like a mostly older crowd both in the restaurant and large bar area. The location is convenient, on San Antonio near Foothill and there's a large parking lot. And you can walk downtown for a coffee afterwards or to the Bus Barn Theatre a few blocks away.
This establishment barely gets a four star...one of our party of four was sick and we ordered him orange juice which was fresh squeezed at the bar which is a nice touch. No soup. At all. Hmm...settled for the house salad which was all good with the house dressing except the croutons were soft..they were not stale, just soggy but not from the dressing. Could never quite figure that one out. Ahi tuna entree was very salty but the sauce was good. Everyone else liked their steak entrees and especially our Montana guest who grew up on a ranch. He wanted it cooked warm and bloody (not seared) and that is exactly how it came out. That is what put the rating at the four stars. Dessert selection is very limited and we got the banana cake. I did not like it much but everyone else. The booths are nice. Service is good since the food comes but nobody knows who ordered what since many wait people helped our table for some reason.

The croutons are freshly made, cornbread croutons. They're supposed to be soft :-)
