This place rocks! Great with kids, and a wide range of food. Frosted Mochas are the best....
This is the place to meet friends, sip a latte and people watch in Menlo Park. Start next store at the independent bookstore, Keplers, and then take your purchase to Cafe Borrone to read at your table under a green umbrella. Weekend crowds pack the outdoor patio most of the year so come early or stop by in the afternoon when Stanford students, moms with children and dog walkers fill the tables. The food is a bit expensive but fresh and tastey. Lean back to overhear VCs at the next table discuss their next big deal or listen to community volunteers plan their next gala event. If Menlo Park had an unofficial city square, the patio area outside Borrones would be it!
I'm sorry, butI honestly dislike Borrone. The food is overpiriced and it isn't very good, let alone the portions they serve you. The eggs are even runny. Who can't cook eggs?
