User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBeechwood is an independent school that offers high-quality education, small class sizes and a family-oriented sense of community to KinderPrep through 8th grade students who live in East Palo Alto and Menlo Park. Featuring a dedicated staff, many of whom have served there for over a decade, students are nurtured and challenged in a positive environment. There is a relatively low tuition, with financial aid available, and parents are expected to volunteer time and parenting classes during the year. Started in 1986 by the California Family Foundation, Beechwood is still thriving. Check it out at beechwoodschool.org!
