Great Pizza... and Cheese!: Great pizza in a nice old-style ambiance. Much better eaten hot and fresh than a take out. Theres nothing wrong with their cheese, its tastes fine.

Yuck! Pizza is horrible!: If you like cheese that has the consistency of melted Velveeta you might enjoy their pizza. The dough and the toppings were pretty good, the topping combinations offered are very innovative. I know lots and lots of people that enjoy their food, but I am not one of them. I had been to the Menlo Park location about 10 years ago, and couldn't remember why I had the distinct memory of not liking it. About a month ago, a good friend of mine suggested that we go to the Los Altos location. He is a really big Applewood pizza fan. As soon as we got our pizzas and I took that first bite, I remembered . . . it was the horrible cheese! I don't know what they use, but it is at first soupy, and then rubbery as it cools. Just awful. I really don't inderstand how people enjoy this pizza. There are many other pizza places in Los Altos and surrounding areas, try those instead! Spot Pizza on Main, which just opened is really quite good.

Great Pizza, Great Price: Try the gourmet pizza's. Hard to find good pizza like this on the peninsula.
