User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFriendly Conductor: Friendly, wealth of information, no pressure to buy. Educates you on what is good, bad, work and don't work. Prices are good. Great advice, they got me started with all I needed to enjoy a simple work layout the same night. The store is on the right side of the building. Pently of parking.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat store for N scale trains.: Toms Trackside Trains is a fantastic place to talk, look and buy N scale and HO scale trains and accessories.
This store used to be Trackside Trains. Then Tom purchased the store from the children of the original owner. Tom has been part of the Bay Area model-railroading scene for many years and has a lot of knowledge to share.
The selection of N scale locomotives, cars, detail parts and magazines is excellent. He has a nice selection of HO too. As well, Tom is great at finding hard to get merchandise and will always order in advance if you know what you want.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat Store for N Scale: It's now Tom's Trackside Trains. I have been going to the store for several years for N scale products. Great selection of American prototypes, good prices, friendly folks that know alot about prototype railroads and modeling. Nice funky environment.
