Other then their beautiful campus and nice stadium and track they use a poor curriculum, the teachers do not know how to teach, handle large classes or give the proper earned grade. When it comes down to academics they are close to the lowest scoring in the state. They're sports teams aren't the best except for the soccer team. Some extra classes are good and keep the students out of trouble but for the most part I would have to say that this is second to the last high school I would ever send my children to unless they were to make a few huge changes.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis school is ok, I go there.The people there are somewhat to childish,i'll admit,I am. Some students are cool and some are not. The football team isn't good.The soccer team is really good one of the best in the county, i may add. The basket ball and base ball teams are ok.The FFA are good too!
But the NJROTC in soledad is one of the best in the U.S.,#1 in the western hemesphere.
The education here is really good as well.
I would recommend it.

The school is good. Sports wise they are not the best except for Soccer which they are really good at. The education part of it is also ok, but it could be better. Their NJROTC has also gotten weaker since last year. The school is mostlly made up of Mexican-Americans. Their campus is beautiful and its probably the best kept campus in the area. I would definetly recommend this school.
Soledad High is an around school, the cheerleaders are great many returning for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year. The football teams needs more improvment along with all giving soledad a great big High School Spirit, support your school!!We have a great new principal, Mr. Joe Domingues,that has alot of go get em. Lets go Aztecs!!!
