I was at Shoreline last night for the Nickelback concert. We showed up at 7pm and it was pretty easy and quick to park. You walk in and they have t-shirt stands and places to buy beer. Also, at the t-shirt stand, they were selling Nickelback thongs for $20! Can you believe that? Who in their right mind would buy a thong for that much? Their food is overpriced. I bought a cheeseburger for $7 and it was a very small meat patty with one piece of cheese with no lettuce or tomato, or anything, and it was drowning in bread. I was still hungry after i ate the burger so i went back to get some chicken strips that cost $9, but while standing in line, i saw people walking away with 3 little tiny pieces of chicken on some french fries. These pieces of chicken were so small, my cat could eat them and still be hungry. So instead I bought nachos. The nachos were good. They put lots of cheese on them which is just how i like my nachos. Then i went to go sit on the lawn. I wanted to buy tickets for seats that were closer up, but I couldnt afford them. :( The lawn seats were okay. They have a screen so you can see close up on stage, but it is still fun to stand and watch them on stage. And I was shocked when it didnt get cold at all! I had a great time. If you ever do come to Shoreline Amphitheatre, I would recommend eating before you show up to your event.
20th Anniversary for Shoreline Ampitheatre: Went to the Brooks & Dunn Concert last night. We had premium parking tickets which are well worth it. Only problem was finding the parking from the road in. Venue is nice if you have reserved seating. The grass seats are OK if you can't get reserved, but hard to see stage. The Ampitheatre has been around for 20 years and it still gives you a good show for your money.
VIP Baby: The theatre is great if you have VIP tickets, the boxes are nice, great service, and the eating/grill area is nice and they make great food. It is an open theatre, so it can get cold. Oh and parking is included with your purchase of your ticket, it's just grass/dirt, and takes forever to get out! But it's fun to mingle with the people while your waiting, but don't bring alcohol, the cops make you dump it ALL.
