I have never had anything less than a memorable dining experience at Creola. The staff are invariably helpful, courteous and knowledgeable, and the food truely delicious. Even when busy, we've been treated like we're the only people in the restaurant and never felt rushed. It is an especially nice surprise to come off a mundane stretch of El Camino to such a cosy and welcoming refuge, elegant, surprisingly quiet and friendly. I can rely on a quality experience for anyone I bring there. Highly recommended.
I am a New Orleans transplant and have missed the food. When we found this place by mistake I was so excited and it was crawfish season.. This place is fabulous.. Wait staff on top of refills, food (OMG!) so good. This place was the best I've had in years. A must try for anyone..
We enjoyed the blackened catfish, gumbo and stuffed redfish. The service was disappointing - long waits to order and obvious inexperience with wine service, etc.
We'll go back because its the closest thing to New Orleans food that we've found on the Peninsula.
