About:The idea of "tied houses" was popular during the 18th and 19th centuries. A "tied house" is a pub owned by a brewery that can only serve that brewery's beer. This particular "tied house" is owned by the Redwood Coast Brewery and serves more than just really great beer, but also has a stellar selection of upscale pub food, fantastic atmosphere and a friendly staff.

    The beer here is okay. I tend to be a Guinness drinker and the darks here are not quite up to snuff. The entries tend to be a bit pricey for a brewery. I typically end up getting one of the appetizer platters as my main meal. Last time I went there, the waiter took 30 minutes to give us our bill after we were done eating and never asked about dessert. It wasn't crowded at all.

    A great microbrewery!
    The selection is tasty, I would recommend try the trip around the world!
    Mai Boch is my favorite beer they brew, unfortunately it is only brewed occasionally.

    The food is a bit shy on selection, they need to broaden their menu a bit. The wild game burgers and sausages are wonderful choices.

    I wish I had read the reviews here before I went, but it was a last minute decision....very pleasant waitress but my turkey burger was almost inedible - it was so burned and dried out it could have been any meat....I would have been ashamed to serve this at home and certainly expected more from a restaurant. Seeing as I don't even drink beer, I will not be returning for their food....a fast food burger would have been more enjoyable than this effort.
