I started out with remote control cars many years ago. And Cliff allways had the best answer to any question I ever had .he was very helpfull in any way he could be. If you have something hard to find he would most likely have it there at the store. Or he can get it for you if possible. I would recomend J&M to many hobbiest because it is very personable and friendly

I've been to this store twice now and they've been great. Not sure who this Grumpy guy is...I did see an old timer there the first time but didn't deal with him. A middle aged guy helped me out and was great. Along with some other supplies I picked up some contour putty. The guy behind the counter went out of his way to explain the various products they had and the pros and cons of each. The second time I was buying some paints and needed a clear coat to finish my model with. This is the first time I've used a sealer to complete a kit, and once again the same guy explained to me how best to do this. Yes, the kit selection is not exactly stellar, but I usually get kits online anyways. All in alll I was very pleased and living on the Peninsula it's nice to have a local shop.
