User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI'm not much of a romantic gardening kind of guy, but this place is a true hidden treasure.
See other people's comments about how great this place is, but just my 2 cents from a photographer's stand point.
- All open season = As far as I know, you are allowed to photograph just about anything and there are lots of flowers to shoot.
- Tripod is a no go = because of human traffic + narrow walkways, tripod is not allowed. If you can sneak one in, make sure you use it when staff aren't around.
- Macro lens is preferred = You can get up very close to pretty plants. If you have a macro lens or you can rent it, you should definitely bring it along. Other than that, walk around zoom lenses with a reasonable f-stop range will come in handy.
- Come back every season = They swap out their plants all the time. If you are into plants/flower photography, visit often.
