User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWorst housecleaning I've experienced: When I called Emma's I was told they would do basic housecleaning including the windows inside and out for $25/hour. I arranged to have them show up at 8:30 AM on Friday. At 8:54 AM they called to say they were lost and they would be there in 15 minutes. They showed up at 10AM.
I left the house to allow them to clean it. When I returned they told me they were finished. I asked about the windows and they said they didn't do windows. They also didn't do dishes or make the bed. They didn't do floors particularly well either as the baseboards and the space between the baseboards and the floor is still very dirty. In a couple of places they clearly dusted around things but didn't clean the entire surface.
I called to complain and was told they didn't do windows, dishes or make the bed unless I specified this as an extra request. Regarding the cleaning job, they told me they could come back to finish but not until Monday.

Great service & socially responsible: We love Emma's Eco-Clean service. They have done a great job cleaning our house (we've had them doing it almost a year now) and I love knowing they use eco-friendly supplies. They have always been very respectful of our things, our space, and flexible on schedule when needed. I also feel great about supporting a women's co-op. It's great all-around. Highly recommend.
