Other two reviews on this site nailed it...this place totally has the "neighborhood bar" kind of feel. Cheap drinks, friendly bartenders. Good place to go when you can't find anything else open late in Redwood City too.

my kind of place.....: where everybody knows your name. Great drinks, great prices, great bartenders. The locals love it!!! Can't get enough of the characters that frequent the room. Chances are you won't meet your soul mate there, but I met mine there. Take a chance - the least you will get is a good time, good drinks and local entertainment.

The Last Neighborhood Bar in Redwood City: The Saddle Room looks unapprocahable at best nestled between a WAMU and a take & bake pizza joint. Once inside this Dive Bar you're going to find a great jukebox, cheap beers, drinks, peanuts and a large covered back patio with picnic tables. What more could you ask for in any bar? Friendly regulars you say? they've got that, too.

Don't expect to meet your soulmate here but when you need a beer or two to quench your thirst with some nice tunes and a relaxed atmosphere Saddle Room is the place.

I think the property values just went up on the south side of Woodside Road in Redwood City.
