Our son has been attending Little Acorn this year and he is doing wonderfully there! The staff is terrific, friendly, patient, caring, attentive, communicative and well educated - everything that you would want and more in your child's daycare/early schooling professionals. The facility is exceptionally clean, warm and inviting. Unlike many other local childcare/preschool facilities - Little Acorn is setup just like a big school, and does not at all resemble an overblown playroom. This has been one of the key factors in getting our son to a focus on the educational and social aspects of pre-K as opposed to a previous center he attended where all he did was play and run himself tired all day. Our younger daughter comes with us every day for drop-off/pick-up and she cannot wait until we let her attend too! While Little Acorn offers a good array of 2-5 day plans, and is very flexible to your needs - you will find that the administrations primary focus is on what schedule works best for your child's development and preparation for kindergarten. I truly wish that this facility had grades K+, because I think they have developed some perfect magic formula for my son's success, and I will be really sad when he moves on next fall. I think they are taking enrollments and waiting list for fall 2012 soon, so it would be a great time to go for a tour. Josefina has been wonderful to work with and the teaching staff is just as great as she is. Really I can't say enough good things about this school :)
