Beware that some of the prices listed on the big menu board hanging above the person taking your orders are not the prices you'll actually be charged on the register.

[Also apparently Clarke's considers beer "imported" if it comes from Chico, CA or Boston, MA.]

Unbelievably good!: I do not have a doubt in my mind that this is the best burger joint in Mountain View! I had to write a review because those people reviewing Clarke's Charcoal Broiler and giving it a below average or average score obviously haven't tried their double burger with cheese. This place is awesome, can not even compare it to a burger at McDonalds or Burger King, it’s like it's a whole different burger. Trust me I come here every weekend to get the double burger with cheese and it doesn't disappoint. The only down side is the parking. So do yourself a favor and try this place out, you won't regret it.

Teenagers: I go to school right by there and after a hard swim practice, Clark's is they place to go. I love this place i am a huge fan of all little "shack" Burger places and this is one of the best ones around. It is the PERFECT spot to sit down and have a fun time with a group of friends! If you live around here, and u have not tried Clark's you are missing out on the BEST burger in Mountain View.
