User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsChipotle is simple, good food. Highly addictive. One time I ordered a burrito and one of the ingredients wasn't done cooking, causing me to wait a couple of minutes, so they gave me my meal for free. Now that's customer service!

McDonalds fully divested ownership of Chipotle Grill in 2006. The food service style however reminds one of the soup nazi from Seinfeld. The menu is extremely simple and therefore limited. Kinda reminds me of In n Out's menu, only its Cal-Mex food. Food is prepared assembly line style as you side step your way through the line to the cashier. You get in line, bark your order (you have to bark or you cannot be heard over the noise), and move to the right. Quality is acceptable but a tad over priced. Chips are fresh and tasty however. I wish I had just orderd a bag of chips and some guacaomole instead of the tacos.
Overall, I'd rate food quality and taste to be a notch or two below Unamas and Baja Fresh. I'd rate food slightly above what you'd get at Taco Bell. Value I'd rate about 2 or 3 notches lower. Probably my first and last visit ever to Chipotle.

No comparison between the quality of the ingredients at Chipotle vs Taco Bell. I find Chipotle to be better than Baja Fresh as well - it feels like Baja Fresh has cheaped out on their ingredients in recent years... Agreed about the chips, although I wish they weren't so salty! (I like Baja Fresh's chips better, actually...)
