If you do not like the social homogeneity of Silicon Valley, this place, located on a busy but narrow street, will give you a perfect place for your refuge. The place looks like coming straight out of 1960's movies, and if you do not belong to a certain community (yes, that means race), do not blame yourself if it feels like that era too.
Throughout the stay, our requests were continuously ignored, when the same waitress was looking after few other tables with a smiley face. This was not a case of arrogant/ignorant/sloppy waitress. I have seen enough of the later categories to know the difference. When we were done and were waiting for the check, the waitress finally found time to come to us and helpfully asked, "The food was good, huh?" We guessed she thought we would be grateful to her for the opportunity just to sit there.
By the way, we got lousy food for the price tag. My suggestion: go, find any other place but this and "Frankie Johnnie & Luigi Too", the other one owned by the same owners in Mountain View.
This seems like it may be a nice place, a little too dressy of a place for short and a shirt. Piano was playing on a Wedneday evening. Most dishes around 18+
I would have tried it if not so shabby chic
Good dinner experience. I especially enjoyed the at-table Caesar salad preparation, it's a lot more "from scratch" than most restaurants, and it really exhibits some craftsmanship.
