Not a lot of recent reviews, so here goes. Had brunch there, and the food was wonderful. Service was fine and the food was served quickly. Perhaps the trick is going when they are not super busy? I highly recommend the crab sandwich with bacon, it was sublime.

I enjoy their food here. I don't know if it's also the same chef cooking as the one in Top Chef this season, but at least I like the super fast way they get the food out to you, without feeling hurried. More accurately, I think I should say that the food comes out in successions, at the perfect timing.

Was a bit dissapointed after all the hype.: In fairness I've lived practically across the street from this place for about three years and have been waiting for the right date to dine with there. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the experiance I'd been building up in my mind. The service in particular was disappointing (she didn't even remember to bring us everything we ordered, let alone give us "service with a smile"), and the ambiance. . . well the place could have been dusted and the bathrooms cleaned. I can't complaint about the food-- in fact the Oysters were really quite good. I do think that the place is a bit pretentious and overpriced for what I experianced though.
