sad :(: Now I know why, even being a neighbor, I have to emmigrate for some good chow. This was a weak performance. The food was bad - not even the cambazola fondue was good. Now how did they manage that??? But somehow the service was worse, as our party was ignored for a very long time, drinks had to be asked for twice, etc. Don't believe the hype! Oh, and by the way, waitress, tapas are not served as appetizers and main courses. Duh.

My worst eating experience ever.: Firstly, as we were a birthday party, the birthday girl's menu turned up with a large cockroach on it.
Secondly. the waitress was so rude and agressive - yes you, lady with the afro - you need to find a new job because you are just not happy there, and I wouldn't be either. Thirdly, this is not food! Calling it "Tapas" is an insult to anyone Spanish, in fact calling it "food" is an insult to anyone human. Small servings of deep fried mush that all taste roughly the same and have all been treated to the same level of death by cheap oil? Please don't eat this! Finally, drinks were ok but as usual in the Mission the tonic in my V&T was flat and tasted of mouldy plastic. This place is totally faking it dude!

Great desserts, beer/wine, food: Fantastic and highly recommended for an elegantly urban envioronment (wear black, look good), fantastic beer/wine and food, DO NOT miss desserts, espeically the donut hole...
