My couple of my girlfriends and I went here after work for couple of drinks and dinner and we loved it. It is a comfortable ,sassy restaurant with great food. I had the steak and it was done just right. Great for nice or casual events!

This restaurant was an unfortunate dissapointment, the night my girlfriend and I went, on Saturday, the place was pretty empty. This should have been a clue right there but not every place gets packed on a weekend so we decided to go in and try it.
The waiter we had was either pre-occupied with something else or bought into the theory of let the customer enjoy the meal with out interuption because he was basically not even there. As I said earlier, there were maybe at best 5-6 other tables of people dining. All food is ala carte and the portions are pretty slim for the price. I had ordered Tri Tip steak and my girlfriend ordered a Ceaser Salad and we had asked to have the entree's delivered at the same time figuring that her salad was a pretty simple dish and that didnt need an inordinate amount of time to make.

We had also ordered some Fuji Apple chicken wings for appetizers, now usually a "wing" consists of a small wing with a bone or small drumette but these were nothing more than pared down chicken strips the size of a small lipstick container that were fried and a dipping sauce of BBQ sauce, and the Fuji Apple part was a Fuji Apple run across a mandolin slicer and placed in a pile next to the strips, I guess my point is when you place an ingredient into the name of something you expect it to be incorporated into the dish, would you be happy with coconut shrimp where there was a nice row of shrimp with a pile of shaved coconut on the side of it as opposed to being a part of the shrimp??

Some time later my Tri tip arrived and my girlfriends salad was still nowhere to be seen, it had finally arrived about 5 minutes later and was a Ceaser Salad that was really looking more like the ones that are pre-packaged in the stores, the salad consisted of nothing more than a handful of Romaine with three large croutons and some shredded Parm.cheese and nothing else other than the light dressing, that and it came in a bowl about big enough for a small bowl of soup, not really worth the price or the effort.

Overall this place had a nice decor, but decor is not what I visit a restaurant for, service and quality as well as quantity VS. price. The service needs to be a bit more attentive, the kitchen needs to figure out that a salad should always be ready prior to a meat dish, this isn't a hard thing to do since most salads are pre-cut and washed and only need a minimal amount of actual time to prepare and plate, and that they also need to portion properly to the amount that is being charged.

I would maybe give this place a try one more time because I know that sometimes resaurants have off nights and possibly this was one of them, but I think I will try a lunch there, at least of the experience is the same, it will be at alunch price and I will not be out $75.00 +

Average resturant with upscale feel: The decor, enviroment, and neighborhood are what makes this place different. Some may argue about the parking but in my experience at many good resturants it is the same and not that bad, you just have to walk a little! The band and bar are the highlights. The food and the value is average. The lobster ravioli was edible but not to my liking compared to other dishes. I thought the flavor and acidity of the tomatos were not a good fit. It was unbalanced with the intense delicious flavor of the onions with the "light" borderline bland champagne sauce and lobster. The kobe beef short ribs, and bistro steak are great selctions for meat lovers. The meats are fork tender and well seaoned. I found the penne with exotic mushroom to be delicious for a vegetarian dish. The pasta was al dente as it should be and overall a very light dish. I was disspointed by the tomotao and basil pizza. The flavor was fresh but the crust became soggy in the center. The pumpkin cheesecake was the best dessert I have tried there. Not too heavy and quite delicate. Smooth and creamy. The tiramisu is decent but I did not like the thick syrup consistency of the cobbler. The waiters are friendly and very patient. Tarragon qualifies as a resturant I would go to if I happened to be in the area nothing more but not a bad place for a relaxing dinner.
