One way to differentiate a good Italian restaurant is by its gnocchi, texture & flavor. Gumbas' gnocchi is really poor, chewy & tasted more like flour instead of potatoes. The pesto sauce is good but can't compensate for the badly made gnocchi. Guess I hv to continue my search for a great gnocchi... :-(
Food quality become very poor, stop going there.
Gumbas served the worst veal parmigiana scallopini I have had in my 79 years. It was served as a tasteless unseasoned soup straight out of a microwave. I had to ask if the cook was an Italian and, of course, got a negative reply. I can not believe they call this dump an Italian restaurant.

Well, hate to break the news to you.....I'm also Italian and their food is great....perhaps you had bad day....or perhaps you don't know what real Italian food tastes like...nevertheless, people with class like Gumbas....perhaps you should find another state to live in....perhaps Cleveland, OH where they serve Jersey Heffers. Mooooooooo
I agree!!! quality was poor. salad which came with the meal was a plate of vg being serve to cows... noticed the good reviews were fr 2008. Did they change chefs? 2009 reviews are all similar,,, BAD
