| About: | The line you see wrapped around the block says it all. This place is very hip. Four dance floors jam with some of San Francisco's most talented DJs. Frankly, if your booty doesn't shake in here, your booty is dead. When you first arrive, you can check your coat, buy a drink, and groove in the disco/funk room. Downstairs there's another bar and a DJ spinning 80s favorites. Upstairs is the VIP lounge, with alternative music, velvet sofas, and beautiful people lounging about, engaged in esoteric conversations. If techno's your thing, the rave room's got it, complete with lights, cage dancers and a steam machine. Climb up the stairs by the bar to yet another dance level, where wall size visuals enhance a trip hop mix. This is one of the city's pricier clubs. For the experience, however, it's worth every penny. The club opens its doors at 8p. |

User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis club gives way to urban decay, it is a druggy club. Everyone here is on drugs. There are people doing meth and crack in the bathrooms. It is full of asian people who are on ecstasy. Not a good scene for people who want to party. I can't explain the awkwardness and discomfort I felt here. It is sketch and like I mentioned before a druggie club. Would recommend it to anyone unless you are a crackhead or a tweeker.

When you enter there is the hip hop room. Further down is the rave room. If they have 5 rooms, I don't know where the other 3 would be. The DJ was playing okay songs. He was mostly playing old-school songs, but at least he got my requests in. The bar is not crowded, so it's easy to get a quick drink. It's clean, for the most part. I am not into raves, but if you are, I think this is the place for you. Overall, I had an okay experience. It wasn't worth $20 though, but it did beat Suite 181.

hi sexy n young, i saw ur review on the on the nightclub in folsom street. i am here in SFO for a couple of days on layover for my job until friday morning. just wanted to ask u if u knew of any clubs w mostly asian ppl in it. btw my hotel is parc 55 renaissance hotel right in the city. would appreciate any pointers. lookin forward to ur suggestion. thanks in advance.
