User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWe went about 1 week ago on a trip to San Fran and the food was terrible. I was so excited to go, we don't have any "fancy" vegan places in San Diego. I couldn't believe our bill was $87....for 2 people. I have been a vegan for about 5 years now and have tried a lot of vegetarian/vegan restaurants, and this by far was the worst. The food was bland and didn't taste fresh at all. There wasn't a fresh item on my plate. The only thing good was deep fried mushrooms (which they gave us for free)...about 60% of their menu was mushrooms. We ate at the Herbivore for half the cost and the food there was awesome. Also, your so crammed together to eat, that the waiters butt is in your face as they take the order next to you.

One of the best restaurants in SF. Wonderful food, great atmosphere and attentive service. I've been here about 10 times, and have always enjoyed it. As noted, it is pricey, but well worth the splurge.

I guess, I expected the price. The food was splendid! I had the special, which was the stuff Pablano Pepper. It had a spicy kick with some sweetness from Pom. fruit. The flavor was amazing! Both my husband and good friend who are real meat eaters. Enjoyed their food very much! There was little talk during the meal, because we were enjoying the rollarcoaster of flavor on our taste buds. We all sampled each others food. Superb! Very good quality too! I even picked up a cookbook, I enjoyed it so much. When we are back in the area, we are definetely returning to Millennium.
