I don't like this super market. The stuff is rude fnd the servise is bed. My blood presere alwayse grows up when I went in this store. I don't recomend thisa store all wight pregnant women because it is the good plase just for Koreans.
I was simply amazed when I first discovered this supermarket. I think it's one of the biggest Korean supermarkets in the Bay Area (far bigger than the Koreana supermarket in Oakland, where I used to go when I lived in Berkeley).
The selection is just incredible. Their produce section is about as big as any normal supermarket, and their meat selection is also great. They also have a lot of household items and appliances, which are all reasonably priced. Unlike many of the Ranch 99 markets, this place doesn't smell fishy and unclean, which makes the shopping experience so much better.
The best part of the store, at least for me, is the large Kimchi bar in the center of the store. They have all kinds of different Kimchi, and a lot of the side dishes that you get when you go to a Korean restaurant. This supermarket is a bit out of my way (I live in the East Bay), but I still make my semi-monthly trips there to get my supply of Korean/Asian foods.
has everything you need for the Korean palette..: For someone who doesn't cook that often, this place has the pre marinated meat and side dishes that make my life loads easier when I do make food. The quality is good, stuff is fresh, and prices are tough to beat in the area. It's very clean inside and the staff is very helpful if needed. They even have a little restaurant setup in the back for some quick cheap eats. If you like Korean food or even if you just want some Asian snacks or juices this is the place to go. It'll be a steady supplier for my fridge.
