Nick's Crispy Tacos

The burritos are great now that you can get them with rice inside. I never understood why you couldn't before. But you still have to ask for it. The main problems though are 1. The constant reggae music. What does reggae have to do with Mexico? For a couple of weeks they switched it to random classic rock and it was much better. The owners were probably on vacation. Now the constant, annoying reggae is back. 2. NO PEPPER! How can you eat Mexican food without pepper? There is salt on every table. The food does not need salt. No restaurant food ever needs extra salt. But pepper is absolutely mandatory. Every time I ask for it, they don't seem to care or understand why it is so important. I used to eat there every day, but after asking, and asking for pepper, and getting tired of the infernal reggae, I gave up.

Gone Downhill: Nick's has gone downhill the last few months. Last couple of times I was there, the tacos were a soggy mess, and the ingredients didn't seem to be as fresh as they used to.

Best Tacos in San Francisco: Love the pescado tacos or even tacos in general. This is the number 1 place I'd go to eat tacos, no where else. Great and comfortable place to hang out.
