i went to palomino's about a month or so ago and my dining experience was excellent. the staff was really friendly and attentive and the food was really great. we had the fried calamari to start and it was the best i have ever had. the bread and sauce they serve was wonderful we just kept eating it. i ordered a shrimp plate that came with pasta it was a bit oily but still very good. my bf had the new york steak i believe with pomme frites (fries) they were so good! we will be going again very soon. even though it expensive the food was worth it.
2 Thumbs Up!: Great location with a nice view of the Bay Bridge. The food is excellent, especially the crab and artichoke dip (I think those are the two ingredients). Ironically, even though this isn't listed on the menu, it's very popular. Just mention "that good dip" to the wait staff and they will know what you're talking about. :) Speaking of the wait staff, I've had the same server all three times that I've been there. She's very nice and accomodating! It's a little pricey, so don't go unless you have at least a $20 bill (two $20s if you're paying) in your wallet. A little hard to find the front entrance, so I usually enter from the back (through the outdoor seating area). Overall, a nice date place or somewhere to take a business colleague.
Nice view, good food: The menu has a lot of variety and the drinks from the bar are really good. On top of that, you can enjoy a great view of the Bay Bridge. Pretty good food for a chain.
