Pete's Barbeque Business Overview

Edit Info

Company Information: The fanciest thing about this unpretentious storefront may be the blue-and-white awning over the picture windows. The barbecue is succulent, with the juicy meat and tangy sweetness of the sauce, making it an irresistible treat. Pete's Bar-B-Que draws a mostly local crowd of students and Mission types who linger over huge platters of ribs, chicken, sausage and pork with sides of cornbread, coleslaw and other traditional accompaniments. The service is quick, the mood is friendly and the food could not be better.

Hours of Operation: Daily 10:30am-8pm

This is the best restaurant ever!! The food is fabulous!!! The owners are great. The only bad thing is the space is limited in side and the parking sucks.

Small Diner is favorite of Mission District locals: This small diner serves the most delicious roasted BBQ chicken I have ever eaten. Food is served cafeteria style, in a neighborhood known as the Mission District - an ethic melting pot. I have taken dozens of people to this spot over the years and most of them have then taken their friends, and so on. Many of these people live in the East Bay yet are willing to make the 45 minute drive for this food. The Mission District is a gritty neighborhood that may not be suitable for everyone, but you will enjoy the good, simple food found here.
