Will Never Eat Here Again Until Shark Fin Soup is Removed From Menu!
I was very upset when I found out that Shark Fin Soup was on the menu. I should have got up and left that moment, but I didn't. Regardless, I feel terrible that I didn't leave. After watching the movie SharkWater, I've become very passionate about saving sharks and educating friends about the movie. Thousands of sharks are killed only for their fins and thrown back into the water to drown. We need sharks in our ecosystem to survive. One very important way is to not order Shark Fin Soup or even better, not support restaurants that have it on the menu. I have written a letter to the restaurant asking them to remove the item from their menu.
My wife and I tried the salmon egg rolls and salt and pepper crab at the recommendation of the bartender and waiter. The egg rolls were cold, definitely prepared way ahead of time and not to order. The $38 dungeness crab was battered and deep fried. This made the usually delicate crab taste greasy and unappealing. Deep frying a hard shell crab not only makes no sense, but made the process of trying to remove the crab from the shell much more difficult and a greasy mess. I wouldn't return if the meal was free.
I like their crab. Yummy Yummy! the only not-so-good thing there is long waiting line.
