I recently discovered this place after passing it en route daily to my studio. It is cozy, the food is always delicious and incredibly fresh and the price is quite reasonable. The service is always FANTASTIC and by an engaging and attentive Frenchman named Olivier. I like the place so much that I brought a group of friends from Spain to lunch there and they claimed that it was the best restaurant they had been to in the U.S. It's a great place whether you are going solo, with a group of friends or on a hot date!

This is one of my favorite spots in town - always a dilemma where to go here or Eliza's but if there is an empty seat, Chez Maman always wins. The burgers are indeed tasty (and I am somewhat of a burger snob) and the waiters adorable.

One of the best spots in town for a snack. In fact, I would go so far as to say one of the best burgers in SF. I really like the Gruyeres burger with bacon and a fried egg. Crepes are nice, not Ti Couz good, but they certainly hold their own. French onion soup is some of the best i've had, in the states or France. Sometimes the wait can be a pain, but I am used to waiting for the best hidden spots in town. I've never had a bad meal there, and I am dying to try their steak.
