The margaritas and mojitos were excellent, though the bar was quite loud during the end of happy hour. The food we had at dinner was great. The group sampled different types of tacos and some got the piramide of steak which was delicious - it had lots of different flavors in the sides that made it very tasty.
Is a great place for a nice group dinner where you can feel like you are going out to a nice restaurant.
The staff were very courteous.
Cold, dry, tasteless: This was an awful meal, the food arrived cold, and then it was bad. The lamb was impossibly tough and dried out, and the snapper was tasteless and dry. This place seems popular with happy hour crowd, so it was really loud. I have been trying to search out great nuevo latino places--this is not it. PS. When your waiter asks if you would like some chips and guacamole, be sure you know this is not on the house, that approach is what Chili's does, hi-end places offer complimentary abrebouche, or olives or some small equivilant. Trying to be upscale but the attitude is all wrong.
Yum! Cilantro Margaritas!!!: I've recently discovered Maya, and I keep going back! The prices are a bit high, but the quality of the food and the service is also high. It's not your beans and rice Mexican restaurant!
Their margaritas are EXCELLENT, especially their Cilantro Margarita! I like to start with the Margarita La Rosa (a fruitier margarita) and then order the Cilantro Margarita with the Tampiquena for dinner.
The waiters are all very friendly, and I've never had to wait for a table!
Check it out!
