About:This huge Shanghai-style restaurant features clean lines, good service and an outstanding array of dishes from which to choose. The menu runs to several pages and there are always a good number of daily specials available, in addition to some very good Dim Sum ordered from rolling carts. You could probably eat here every day for a month and always have something new. The Chicken Soup is also noteworthy both as a light lunch in itself or a starter for one of the wonderful noodle entrees that come with a variety of toppings. For something a little more fancy, the Wine-marinated Squab, served cold, makes for a piquant dining experience.

This place takes advantage of its customers by not disclosing their dim sum prices upfront, and then hitting you with the bill, written in Chinese! It is the most overpriced dim sum in the world. The food is mediocre, the atmosphere is average, but their unfair business practices smack of greed and taking cultural advantage of its patrons. Send your complaints to the Better Business Bureau, Zagats, SF Chronicle, and Urban Spoon. Everyone should be warned!

If i only read GM,s review before I went there. The food I would say was below average. I've eaten dimsum at Chinatown in Brooklyn and in Flushing, Queens. These two places were more superb. Even San Diego has better dimsum than Yank Sing. Your paying for their rent, That's why an order of 6 pcs. of honey walnut shrimp cost 10.20.

Cool experience, good service (except for one lady telling me a pork dish was chicken), but expensive for two.

Not really something for only two to do...take at least four.

Some of the food was excellent like the shrimp (according to my mother-in-law) and chicken egg rolls, but some of the food was awful (the pork dumplings - we aren't pork fans and thought they were chicken - and sesame balls - they had a terrible thick sauce inside).

Great! The service in my opinion is wonderful. The dim sum is great, you never run out of options. The food is warm and delicious. The only con i can think of is that it is located in an odd alleyway.
