Excellent French cuisine short walk from Moscone: Food and Service just top notch. Try the specials of the day - The Chefs know what is seasonally happening and they make the most of it. Try their garden seating in the rear. Our group had their Lamb, Seafood Pasta and their sausage plate. All awesone and the food we saw at the other tablesm makes us want to go back and try everything. A hidden Jewel South of Market Street!

A hidden gem of the city: This is one of the best French restaurants in the area. Great service, fantastic food and inexpensive. ~$30 for a prix fix three-source. The owners have been remodeling the place for a while now - inside looks decent and patio seating is welcome in a hot summer. Creme Brule is to die for...

Simple classic French for a good price: I return to this place often because it offers good, basic French food for a nice price. Some dishes, like the Coq au vin are spotty, but the duck confit is the best I've had in the city and the French onion soup is also extremely good. Sure there are better French restaurants in the city, but they're often over-hyped, overpriced and lack classics on the menu. If you order the right dishes at Le Charm you'll eat well and walk away feeling satisfied that you didn't spend a fortune. I recommend it.
