The location was great - we were looking for somewhere to grab a nice dinner in Union Square before going out in the area. The food was very good and the atmosphere in the restaurant was festive and fun, but also had enough Asian flair to make the restaurant feel pretty fancy and different.
Good Place For Appetizers and a Drink: E & O is a good place to meet for appetizers and a drink. In general I find the appetizers are really great and main course are Ok. Good atmosphere and solid service.
Casual but yummy dining near Union Square: I wasn't blown away by E+O Trading Company food, but it was certainly tasty and not too expensive. My husband loved the Korean BBQ beef - I had the Tuna which was nice, but nothing too out of the ordinary. There was a very good variety of apetizers and small plates as well. The desserts looked super although we didn't have room to try any.
Service was super quick, but pretty unengaging - was ok for us, but if you want to be speciallly catered too, don't go here.
