A dive bar with flair, the Knockout is famous for its nights of dancing, and displays of the bizarre. Set in the Outer Mission and surrounded by good food, it is a place to be visited on any night out on the town. There is a DJ and/or live music every night of the week to keep you entertained as you enjoy your drinks.

Mo to Sa from 05:00pm to 02:00am,Su from 05:00pm to 12:00am
fun and oddity at its best: Go on Wednesday nights to see Dr. Hal answer your questions about anything in the universe or on Thursday night for Costume Karaoke. There are also some good circus acts and other hi-jinx.
The Place For People Who Have No Place: The owner, Chicken John, prides himself in booking shows that nobody else will book. Sometimes this results in disaster, but most of the time, the shows are inventive and clever. Where else can you see a backpack escape, a trapeze artist, and a guy playing Led Zepplin tunes on an accordion, all on one night.
