Wow...I'm a bit in awe of this man. He told me many things about myself upon our first meeting that I hadn't even told him yet (allergies, heart trouble, lung problem, thyroid blinking out...which are all recent.)
Then he loaded me up with herbs to cook into a tea to take care of everything.
I'm a big fan...wish he could show the AMA a thing or or two (or two thousand!)

Phenomenal acupuncturist: Dr. Yat Ki Lai is an amazing doctor whose practice has literally saved many patients. The plaques hanging, in the waiting room of his office, emblazoned with heartfelt messages, from his many patients, attest to this fact. Despite being told otherwise at traditional hospitals and by traditional doctors, many of Dr. Lai's patients have made full recoveries due to his expertise in acupuncture medicine and herbs. My stepfather was told 5 years ago that he would never be able to walk again due to nerve damage in his back and that even an operation would be a moot point. Dr. Lai helped improve my stepfather's nerve damage and even got him to a point where surgery could help him recover and get him walking again.

I have also used Dr. Lai for my own bouts with asthma and haven't had to use my inhaler for over 3 years.

I later found out that Dr. Lai is actually recognized as a pioneer in acupunture medicine--- and rightly so. I recommend him highly.
