Company Information: This restaurant is a San Franciscan version of fast food, Thai-style. The servings are relatively large and the service really is fast. Simply decorated, this restaurant is tucked away among the stores on 18th Street. A few tables are placed throughout the room, and there is also a center counter at which to sit. The lunch menu features a sampling of curries and the traditional Thai rice and noodle dishes, with entrees priced less than $8. The dinner menu is slightly more expensive, though the portions are relatively larger.

This place is super official. The guy complaining about how bad the service was, and his undercooked noodles is completely misguided. Go up the street and pay 30 for a plate. this place is straight asian greaspy spoon. no frills. bottom line: mad good.
This teensy Burmese restaurant has never let me down. Eating out can get so pricey, but YAMO's fare is both delicious and cheap.
Probably the best part about the whole dining experience is sitting at the counter, watching the two women cook. They're masters!
Excellent Value and Excellent Food: I didn't expect much since it is only $5.25 per plate (for most items, some is even cheaper). However, when the food came, I am totally amazed. The food is not only good, but it is also prepared with very unique style. The cuisine is Burmanese. I loved their mango salad and tea salad. The first one is very refreshing and the second one is very spicy. I would recomend the second one if you like excitment. I don't think you can go wrong at Yamo. Every dish is good. Even wIth the cheap price you pay there, you can expect the food is from a five star restaurant. This place is really amazing and highly recomended.
